Target Will Soon Let You Add Starbucks Drinks to Your Drive-Up Order

Your Target run is about to get even better. When the retailer added their popular Drive Up same-day order pickup service, customers asked for another option - to have their orders from Target’s in-store Starbucks delivered to their car as well. Well, Target listened and now they’re making it happen.

They’ve been testing the Drive Up with Starbucks program, which is currently available at select stores in 24 states, according to Target’s website. Now they’re expanding it and will be rolling out the feature to all of their 17-hundred locations with an in-store Starbucks by October.

Here’s how it will work:

  • Shoppers will place their order for pickup through the Target app.
  • Once the store notifies the customer that their order is ready and the customer indicates they’re on the way, they’ll get a prompt to add any Starbucks food or drinks to their cart and click “Add for Drive Up.”
  • When the customer gets to Target, both their Target and Starbucks orders will be delivered to their car.
