Planning your wedding can be expensive as well as stressful. You have to figure out a menu that meets everyone’s needs, and stick to a budget, which isn’t easy. The average cost of having a wedding catered can run anywhere from $4-thousand to $7-thousand, on average, according to Wedding Wire. But Chili’s is here to help a few couples out with that cost.
A TikTok video shared by the restaurant chain explains that they’re giving the first three couples who get engaged at a Chili’s location free catering at their wedding. All the lovebirds have to do is pop the question at a Chili’s and share it on TikTok, tagging @chilisofficial. The contest is open through June 9th at 11:59p.m. ET, and you can check out all the fine print and details here.
The idea was inspired by newlywed Madison Mulkey, who recently shared her story on TikTok about using Chili’s to cut down on costs at her wedding. She was able to feed 99 people at her wedding for just $1,905.44. "In light of recent events, specifically, a wedding in Savannah, Georgia, that was entirely catered by Chili's, we have decided collectively that we're just gonna lean into this whole wedding catering thing,” the exec in the Chili’s video explains.
- Chili’s will give three lucky couples wedding catering up to $25-hundred. Unfortunately, alcohol isn’t included, so they won’t pay for spicy margaritas or other drinks.
