Coming up with the perfect gift for your mom can be a challenge, but one celeb is sharing gift-giving advice we can all afford. A TikTok video of Oprah Winfrey talking about present ideas with a reporter is going viral and her suggestion is something anyone can do.
In the clip, the reporter asks Oprah, “A favorite gift for my mom, she’s not doing well.” Ms. Winfrey replies a great option would be the red jewelry box she included on her "Favorite Things" list, but the reporter tells her that’s too expensive. “No it’s not,” Oprah replies. “It’s like $100.” But the reporter asks, “A little lower? In my price budget.” She looks a little shocked and asks him, “Lower than $100?”
The reporter then says that his mom likes sentimental gifts and Oprah quickly comes up with an idea. “Okay, then this is the perfect gift for your mom,” she tells him. “You do a list of your top 10 reasons why you love her and you make a beautiful card, and it’s your top 10.” The reporter replies, “That’s perfect! And it’s sentimental, right?” Then Oprah confirms, “Yes. And it’s your top 10.”
