Is it really your friend’s birthday if you’re not posting them all over Instagram?! It’s becoming more and more popular to dedicate your Insta stories to your friend instead of a post (or instead of just doing a post). But how do you make that birthday Insta story perfect? Here are some great ideas courtesy of “Bustle.”
- A story series that spells out “happy birthday.” Post one pic for each letter (or just do HBD if you want to keep it as three).
- Tap for a surprise…. Use that as the caption for the first pic and then do a “surprise” pic as the second, like am embarrassing photo.
- Birthday bingo. Make a bingo card template with quirks of your friend and have people repost it to their stories!
- Virtual cake delivery. Post a cake gif or even draw one!
- Video serenade. Organize a sing-along video with some of your friends.
- Virtual birthday card. Use the draw feature to draw a homemade card for your friend.
- Order them a cameo. You can get a cameo of their favorite celeb wishing them a happy birthday.
