"Fortune" magazine is out with their annual Fortune 500 list of the nation’s top corporations and the top spot looks a lot like it has in previous years.
- Walmart sits at number one on the list for 10th year in a row, generating $5.1 trillion cumulative revenue over that time.
- And that’s not the only repeater, with this year’s Top 5 identical to last year.
- Just how big are the companies on this list? Well, they generated $16.1 trillion in revenues, or about two-thirds of the U.S. economy.
- They also employ about 29.7 million people worldwide.
