“Worst First Date” Guy Orders 100 Tacos, Makes Woman Pay

“What’s the worst first date I’ve ever been on? I’m so glad you asked,” Elyse Myers begins aTikTokvideo recalling her memorable experience. She explains that before she met her “smoke show of a husband,” she was on the dating apps and a man messaged her to say, “I like your face, let’s go get some food.” He was speaking her love language, so she accepted the stranger’s invitation, but things went downhill quickly.

Her date suggested they meet at his place and drive together to the restaurant, and she agreed, even though it was 45-minutes to his house. When Elyse pulled up, he was outside waiting with the old “lost my keys” excuse. “Should I have just left him right there and gone home? Yes,” she says. “Did I? Absolutely not.” Instead, she drove to his chosen eatery - Taco Bell. He told her to go through the drive-thru, then leaned across her to order ... 100 hard shell tacos! And that’s when he revealed that he “forgot” his wallet, so she had to pay.

He wanted to take the tacos back to his place, where he dumped the heap of tacos on the table and screamed, “Let’s feast!” And then his dad joined them and they all ate in silence until Elyse decided it was time to bail, but not before collecting the remaining tacos she’d paid for. “I walk out with boxes of tacos in my purse and I look back and I was like, ‘thank you for this experience, you will never hear from me again.’”

  • Her entertaining video racked up more than 11-million views in just two days and viewers were left with many questions about “taco guy.”
  • Thankfully, she answered some of them in afollow-up video, including how much the 100 crunchy tacos cost, which was about $149.07 with tax.
  • And in thethird“taco guy” date video, Elyse addresses whether he was upset when she took the tacos and left. She admits she didn’t even look at his face because she was focused on confidently carrying 94 tacos without needing help so she could safely make her escape. And she eventually ate each and every last soggy taco!
