LA Plans To Turn Former Puente Hills Landfill Site Into A Regional Park

Earlier this week, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis celebrated $28.25 million allocation of funds to create a regional park in Puente Hills.

This will be the first new recreational space in the county in more than 35 years and will be located on the former site of the Puente Hills Landfill, which closed back in 2013. The Puente Hills County Regional Park will be a 142-acre space that consists a mix of amenities, open space and hiking trails.
