Up to Eight Gorillas Test Positive for Covid-19 in California Zoo

Monday, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that two Gorillas at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park have tested positive for Covid-19.

The two gorillas began coughing last week which made zoo officials test their fecal samples for SARS-CoV-2. The tests detected the virus on Jan 8th, according to the zoo.
