Rupert Grint joined Instagram on Tuesday (November 10) for a special reason—introducing his daughter to the world for the first time.
Back in May, Grint and his longtime partner, Georgia Groome, welcomed their first child into the world. At the time, the new parents decided to keep details about their little one private, including her name. Along with the first photo of his daughter, Grint also revealed her moniker—Wednesday G. Grint.
"Hey Instagram....only 10 years late, but here I am," Grint captioned his very first Instagram. "Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert."
Grint didn't share the inspiration behind his daughter's name, though it's possible he and Groome are big fans of The Addams Family. During an interview with The Guardian back in 2018, however, the Harry Potter actor spoke about naming his future children. "Grint’s a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with," he told out the outlet. It seems like he and Groome found the perfect name for their little one in the end.
