Fayetteville, AR – Local area McDonald’s restaurants have launched the annual Give a Little Love campaign to support Ronald McDonald House® Charities (RMHC) of Arkoma. Patrons can purchase a $1, $2, or $5 heart which will be displayed in each restaurant between June 1 and June 20 with proceeds supporting RMHC.
All money raised will be used to support the local Ronald McDonald House®, Family Rooms, and Care Mobile.
“Our mission is to create, find, and support programs that improve the health and well-being of children in Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. At Ronald McDonald House® Charities of Arkoma, we believe in fostering the well-being and progress of young lives. With the help of fundraisers like ‘Give A Little Love,’ we’re ensuring a brighter future for the generation of tomorrow.”
RMHC of Arkoma served over 1,275 children and families last year through their Houses and Family Rooms, saving families with a sick or seriously injured child more than $1.3 million in lodging and meal expenses. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provided 280 children $336,115 in free dental procedures.
“This fundraiser happens at McDonald’s, but it is the generous support of our amazing community that makes it a success,” said Michael Hadley, local RMHC Board Vice Chair who owns and operates 12 McDonald’s restaurants in the area with his family. “Our customers are the driving force that enables families to stay close when managing the needs of a sick child.”
